SHICAKAI

Detergente naturale brufoli acne

Shikakai?

Sounds like a original word and probably not as well known in Europe as in Asia! Literally meaning “hair fruit” it is an Ayurvedic plant used in India for centuries for hair care.

Its INCI name: Acacia Concinna.

The powder, derived from drying its pods and fruits, is rich in saponins—plant-based compounds that function as natural detergents.

This powder is primarily used as a natural shampoo for oily hair but it is also used as a gentle cleanser for impure or acne-prone skin, helping to regulate sebum production.

Despite its efficient cleansing power, is very gentle and does not disrupt the skin's barrier, making it suitable even for the most sensitive skin type.

It is known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, which can help reduce the proliferation of bacteria responsible for acne.

It can help to calm irritation and redness, often associated with acne-prone or impure skin.

These are the reason why Mudithara has included it in the I'M STRONG solid cleanser
